It’s not impossible, it’s a bunch of challenges reduced to bite-sized chunks

Got a project so huge you simply can’t grasp it? Or do you just have a job that fills your head with things you have to remember to do and they all mix up into an undoable big blob?

The frustration comes when too many things happen at the same time. You have no way of grasping the big picture. It all comes down to two simple steps.

Step one, know what you are aiming for. You need to define the ultimate goal. A project is a project, it is supposed to end. It’s supposed to have an end result. Define it. You can’t do that in one sentence or even a paragraph. But start with something.

Step two, categorize the goal. Reduce everything to bite-sized chunks. If a portion seems too big to handle go back to step one. Then process again as in step two. This way you have sized down and de-impossiblized your project. If you know what you’re doing then everything is easier. You’ll sleep better.
